Tom McDonald is a remarkably intelligent man.  He is ruthless in his dedication to his personal improvement, his love for his family, and his craft as a Doctor of Orthopedic Surgery.  Specializing in hand surgery requires one to have a gift for the delicate handling of fragile tissue. In hand surgery, it is the small things that make the big difference. As a writer he masterfully bridges this same sentiment, making point of the small things that make the biggest impact for our industry and our community. His style is unapologetic, entertaining, and ever respectful for the art and sacrifice that is medicine.  With a book on the way, I'm excited to read more from this amazing person and writer.
